Join Nadia from The Crow’s Nest Artist Collective for a creative and relaxing afternoon at beautiful Jade Resort on Quadra Island .In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the art of cyanotype sun printing, a fascinating photographic process that uses sunlight to create striking blue-and-white prints. Using natural materials foraged from the surroundings of Jade Resort, participants will design their own unique prints inspired by the beauty of the island landscape. Nadia will guide everyone through the process step by step, making this workshop approachable for beginners while still inspiring for experienced creatives. After class, guests are invited to unwind and enjoy the waterfront setting. Go for a swim, relax by the water, or take advantage of **kayak and SUP rentals available at the guest rate of $10/hour. Rentals are weather dependent and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be served, making this a lovely blend of art-making, nature, and summer leisure. Getting to The Jade + Roundhouse 📍 Address: 774 Cliffe Rd, Quadra Island 🧭 Coming off the Quadra ferry: • Head up the hill and turn left onto Harper Rd • At the stop sign, turn right onto Heriot Bay Rd •Take your first left onto West Rd •Continue to Gowlland Harbour Rd and turn left •Take your first left onto Vaughn Rd •Watch for two wooden pillars with eagle carvings ~ that’s your sign you made it 🙌 🚗 Parking: •Drive through the pillars and keep left •The main parking lot will be on your left — please park here • If the lot is full: exit The Jade, turn left, then take a quick right onto Huntley Rd for overflow parking 🌊 Finding the Roundhouse: •From the parking lot, walk down the road all the way down toward the water •It winds a bit, but just keep heading downhill •You’ll see the Roundhouse at the water’s edge — you can’t miss it
