In this fun and creative pottery class, you’ll decorate a pre-made clay cauldron using a combination of 3D clay attachments, colourful underglazes, and sgraffito techniques. Add your own unique details—think creepy critters, mushrooms, vines, moons, stars, mystical symbols, or anything else your imagination conjures up! You’ll learn how to build up 3D elements onto your cauldron and use sgraffito carving techniques to scratch intricate designs through the underglaze, creating beautiful texture and contrast. Once your masterpiece is complete, we’ll take care of the kiln firing so your cauldron can be transformed into a finished ceramic piece. Oh, and maybe the best part...your cauldron will be completely usable! No pottery experience necessary, and beginners are totally welcome!
