"A time when the normal laws of nature or divinity could be suspended, when spirits and fairies could contact humans, when humans could exceed the usual limitations of their world." -Ronald Hutton, Professor of History, University of Bristol
Celebrate with us tomorrow (Friday, June 20) for Summer Solstice, the longest day (and shortest night) of the year, traditionally a time to honour the earth, femininity, equality and the natural world.
Here at The Crow's Nest, it's also a time for the bringing together of artists and craftspeople who use natural materials to express their visions.
Join us from 5:00pm to Sundown June 20th, when our shop and parking lot will be alight with free arts and crafts (for both adults and kids), prize draws, fire dancing, music and fun for all ages while you shop at the booths of local artists showing and selling their handmade creations.
Grab some friends and come on by for some s'mores on our little fire pit!
Oh, and our friends from Whistlin' Waffle will be here with Bubble Tea and Waffles, too!
2550 South Island Highway, Campbell River. 5:00pm to Sundown!
