Today (Saturday, Aug. 20) and tomorrow are your last two opportunities to get engaged with your local artists and artisans while they're all together at the Willow Point Summer Market here at The Crow's Nest (2550 South Island Highway, beside the veterinary clinic)!
Besides the 70+ artists that we have represented here in the store, there will once again be numerous tents and booths set up throughout the parking lot (and inside at our workshop tables). Everyone from jewellery makers, woodworkers, candy creators, clothing designers, and, of course, local visual artists will be on-hand showing off their beautiful creations from 4-9 pm tonight and again from 10 am to 4 pm tomorrow.
And tomorrow we also have a special musical treat, as well. Cortes-based band Awakeneers will be joining us to fill our parking lot with their wonderful folk-y sounds while you browse and shop, showing our local artists and artisans they've got your support.
