Golden Gesso (Available in Black or White)
 
Golden Gesso is a ready-to-use, flexible, white, toothy, semi-absorbent, 100% acrylic ground. May be wet sanded. Gesso can be thought of as the bridge between your support (canvas, board or whatever you paint on) and the paint. GOLDEN Gesso is designed to penetrate supports and provide a surface to which paint can adhere. Proper preparation with GOLDEN Gesso increases the life span of artwork. White and Black Gesso are ready-to-use formulations for painting on most surfaces. They are flexible and can be applied in thin layers to conform to a variety to textures without cracking. 
 
Golden UV Topcoat (Gloss or Semi-Gloss)     
 
Golden UV Topcoat Gloss and Semi-Gloss UV Topcoat (formerly Gel Topcoat with UVLS Gloss or Semi-Gloss) are acrylic gels that dry to create a permanent, flexible, non-removable coating. GOLDEN Gel Topcoats are fully compatible with other GOLDEN Acrylic Colors, Mediums, Gels and Pastes, and can be blended with these products in any proportion. While formulated primarily as a topcoat, they can be used like other gels to modify sheen and transparency, create texture, provide a clear barrier or coating for subsequent paint or other materials, and to extend product.
 
Golden Pastel Ground
 
Golden Pastel Ground 100% acrylic, off-white translucent, toothy and absorbent surface for pastel, charcoal, and graphite and other media. Also useful as a ground for painting. Pastel Ground is an acrylic preparation for pastels on canvas and other supports. It creates toothy surface similar to papers used with pastel and chalk. For an even rougher texture Fine or Coarse Pumice Gel can be added.
 
Golden Absorbent Ground
 
Absorbent Ground is a fluid acrylic medium that dries to a porous, paper-like surface. Applied over gessoed canvas, it facilitates raw canvas-like staining and watercolour effects. Lightfast, permanent and flexible. This is a Health Labeled (HL) Product, and not for use by children. 
 
Golden Molding Pastes (Light/Coarse/Hard)
 
Golden Molding Pastes are ideal for building texture, retaining tool marks and creating peaks. The Coarse Molding Paste is a thick, warm white coloured medium, translucent up to about 1/8 inch thickness. Dries to a hard, stiff but flexible film with a tooth like fine sandpaper. The Light Molding Paste dries to an opaque, matte finish with good flexibility. It is designed to hold stiff peaks for highly textured surfaces and it blends easily with colours. The Hard Molding Paste dries to a extremely hard, opaque film, it is useful for creating tough, durable finishes for smooth or textured surfaces. Once dry, it can be carved with hand or power tools. 
 
Golden Crackle Paste
 
Crackle Paste is a thick, opaque material that cracks as it dries. The size and extent of the cracking pattern depends on the thickness of application, and environmental conditions during drying and other factors. Dries to an opaque, matte finish, with an absorbent surface suitable for acrylic paints and mediums.
 
Golden Clear Tar Gel
 
Clear Tar Gel has a pully, tar-like feel, but in a clear, colourless gel. This extremely resinous and stringy consistency makes it feel very different from other acrylic gels. Useful for generating fine detailed lines by "dripping" it over surfaces, as it continuously flows from palette knives or other tools. It blends well with all GOLDEN Acrylic colours, although Fluid Colors work best. Ideal for glazing, extending colours, altering sheen, and increasing translucency. 
 
Golden Fiber Paste
 
Golden Fiber Paste 100% acrylic, off-white, semi-opaque medium for building texture or as a semi-absorbent ground. Dries to a handmade paper-like surface. Fiber Paste when dry has the appearance of handmade paper. It can be skimmed with a wet palette knife to make a smoother surface. The dry off-white colour is absorbent, making it ideal for use with acrylic washes
 
Golden Glass Bead Gel
 
Glass Bead Gel made with genuine glass beads, offers a unique effect similar to condensation on glass - best seen in thin films over a light colour to allow the glass beads to be illuminated. Dries to highly reflective texture.
 
Golden Clear Granular Gel
 
Clear Granular Gel is made with granular acrylic solids and has excellent clarity and durability with a coarse texture that dries translucent. Clear Granular Gel can extend paint and add texture without altering colour. Dries to an extremely rough crushed glass appearance. 
 
Golden Pumice Gel (Fine, Coarse or Extra Course)
 
Has a rough concrete appearance. Pumice Gels textures dry to hard films. They mix well with GOLDEN Acrylic Colors. Fine Pumice Gel is useful as a drawing ground. Coarse Pumice Gel and Extra Coarse Pumice Gel create more coarse textures to yield concrete-like finishes. Dries to an opaque grey porous texture. 
 
Golden High Solid Gel (Gloss or Matte)
 
Retains texture, brush strokes, and tool marks. High Solid Gels are similar in body to Heavy Gels. They contain more acrylic solids and shrink slightly less than other gels. They blend well with colours and will retain brush strokes upon drying. Available in gloss and matte. Ideal for thickening, extending colours, altering sheen, and increasing translucency of acrylic paint.
 
Golden Heavy Gel  (Gloss, Semi-Gloss or Matte)
 
Heavy Gels are thicker than Heavy Body Acrylic Colors and may be blended with colours to increase body. Excellent for holding peaks. Ideal for thickening, extending colours, altering sheen, and increasing translucency of acrylic paint.
 
Golden Regular Gel  (Gloss, Semi-Gloss or Matte)
 
Regular Gels have the same viscosity as Heavy Body Acrylic Colours and are ideal for extending paint and regulating transparency without changing consistency. Useful for impasto. Ideal for extending colours, altering sheen, increasing translucency and adhering collages. Consistency similar to heavy body paints.
 
Golden Soft Gel  (Gloss, Semi-Gloss or Matte)
 
Soft Gels are thinner than Heavy Body Colors. Mix with acrylic colours to produce a brilliant glaze. Soft gels can be used as a base for wet blending or as an adhesive for collage. Ideal for extending colours, altering sheen, increasing translucency and adhering collages.
 
Golden Clear Levelling Gel
 
For extending colours, increasing gloss and translucency, and changing consistency of acrylic paint. Self-levels, so brush strokes and tool marks disappear.
 
Golden Molding Paste
 
Excellent for building surfaces and creating textures. Dries to a hard, yet flexible, opaque film. Blends with colours to tint and extend paint. Retains tool marks and peaks extremely well.
