Service Description

Join us on this outdoor excursion to the beach where we will have fun in the sun with our paint brushes in hand! We will meet at the Crow’s Nest and take a short walk to Ken Ford beach where we will find a spot on a log, in the sand, or in a chair (if you bring one). From there we will learn how to use the travel watercolour kit and watercolour brush you will receive with registration to this course. We will be taking inspiration from what we see around us and explore ways to capture nature’s beauty in our new travel size watercolour journal, also included with your registration. Students will come away from this course with an understanding of their new tools and the ability to capture their surroundings with efficient strokes, layering techniques, and a few fine details to bring their landscapes to life. This course is great for those who want to travel and bring their art with them as a way to capture the places they visit, or anyone who is interested in a fun, social, beach day with fellow creative minds. Ages 12+ All materials included. What you get to take home: a beautiful square travel size watercolour book, a fillable watercolour brush, travel size watercolour set on a handmade palette. All skill levels are welcome.
