In this beginner friendly class, you’ll work with warm and water-repellent fabrics to construct a lined coat finished with neat topstitching and secure Velcro closures. Learning Outcomes By the end of the class, you will be able to: * Sew smooth curves with greater confidence * Work with warm and water-repellent fabrics * Construct and attach a simple garment lining * Use topstitching to create a neat, professional finish * Apply Velcro closures securely * Follow the basic steps of garment construction and assembly Materials and Prerequisites No advanced sewing experience is required. Basic sewing familiarity is helpful, but complete beginners are welcome. Bring your own sewing machine for a lower cost.
