Service Description

Learn all about the most oldest forms of painting in the world! In this workshop students will learn how to paint with heated pigmented wax on cradled wood panel. This unique style of painting is so different from any other painting medium. We will be working with beeswax , oil paint, organic materials and metal tools to create our abstract works of art! In this class students will also be learning how to incorporate photography in to their wax creations and will learn interesting effects created by dry media such as graphite and charcoal powder. Returning students welcome as there are always new techniques to share. Supplies required 12x12 wood panel or similar (11x14 or 10x10) feel free to bring some photography you'd like to use. The original will not be harmed, we will make a copy. There will be a half hour break for lunch

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds for class registrations unless the class is canceled by the studio. We will however offer credits in a case by case situation.
