We'll explore the basics of gel plate printing while experimenting with a variety of textures, found materials, stencils, colour combinations, and simple techniques for creating unique prints. This class is all about having fun, trying new techniques, and embracing the surprises that make gel printing so addictive! You'll leave with a collection of hand-printed papers to enjoy on their own or use in future creative projects such as collage, art journals, greeting cards, and more. No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play! All materials are provided, but you're welcome to bring a few items you'd like to experiment with, such as leaves or botanicals from your garden, feathers, lace, or other textured objects (as long as you don't mind getting a little paint on them).
