In this introduction to wood turning, students will learn the basics of creating with a lathe and leave with a finished, handmade wooden snowman ornament they made themselves. Not only are these little guys super cute, but making them will also give you the basics of using a super cool tool that tends to be intimidating for people, under the watchful eye of an instructor who will ensure your safety and develop your confidence. This would also be a great course if you’ve been thinking about getting into wood turning, as it would be a great place to start so you know what to look for when lathe shopping, tools and accessories you might consider purchasing and ask any questions you might have.
