In The Gilded Pet Portrait, you’ll turn your favourite furry (or feathery) friend into true nobility—complete with a regal twist and an antique gold frame to finish it off. In this guided watercolour class, you’ll work from a photo of your pet and learn how to transfer out features, and build up soft layers of colour to capture their personality. Then comes the fun part: we’ll add the “royal” details—think crowns, ruffs, medals, florals, or vintage-inspired embellishments—so your pet looks like they belong in a grand old portrait gallery. This class is beginner-friendly, with step-by-step instructions with plenty of help along the way. You’ll leave with a finished watercolour portrait that’s ready to hang, beautifully presented in an antique style golden frame.
