Service Description

Settle into Jade Resort’s beautiful round house on Quadra Island—walls of windows, ocean views, and the kind of calm that makes you want to create. In this guided ceramic painting class, we’ll take inspiration straight from the landscape around us: the shifting blues of the water, the shoreline, the evergreens, and whatever the light is doing that day. You’ll choose a ceramic piece to paint, then we’ll walk step-by-step through planning your composition, building your colours, and adding details so your piece feels like a little snapshot of Quadra. Students are also welcome to paint anything they wish if they'd prefer not to paint a landscape. No experience needed—this is beginner-friendly, relaxing, and all about enjoying the process in a stunning setting. Address for event: 774 Cliffe Rd, Heriot Bay, BC V0P 0A7 All supplies included Pottery will need to be fired in a kiln after painting. Attendees will be able to pick up their mug up at The Crow's Nest or at Jade Resort 2 weeks after class (whichever location is more convenient). Students will be contacted when their pottery is ready for pick up.
