This focused practice class is designed for students who have some wheel experience and want extra support building confidence with one of the most important pottery skills. In this session, Noella will work closely with students who are struggling to center clay, offering dedicated guidance, troubleshooting, and hands-on instruction to help you better understand the process. With more personalized attention and time to practice, this class is all about slowing down, asking questions, and developing the muscle memory and technique needed to feel more comfortable on the wheel. This is a great fit for beginners who have already had an introduction to wheel throwing and want a supportive space to strengthen their skills before moving on to more advanced forms.
