Whimsical Wonder: A HandBuilt Pottery Jar Let your imagination run wild in this whimsical hand-building pottery class! Students will create their own unique lidded jar, then personalize it using textures, sculpted details, and playful creatures or subjects of their choice. Choose from woodland animals, sweet bunnies, mushrooms, flowers, insects, magical creatures, or dream up something completely your own. You’ll learn how to build and shape the jar, add texture using a variety of tools and techniques, and create dimensional clay attachments to bring your design to life. The possibilities are endless, and no two jars will be alike! After your piece has been completed and dried, it will be fired and glazed, creating a beautiful finished keepsake you’ll be proud to display. All supplies are included. Students will be contacted when to come back and glaze their creations. Students will be able to glaze at their own convenience Tuesday to Sunday. Open late until 8 on Wednesdays!
